Promoting Biodiversity
Originally an arable farm, since converting to free range we have planted over 2,000 new trees on Ardfour range. Tree species include Oak, Sycamore and Rowan, enhancing local biodiversity. Trees and repurposed pig huts provide shelter that encourages the hens to range.
Sun Power
We are always considering how we can be greener and cleaner on our farms. That’s why we installed 40kw solar panels onto the roofs of the barn at Ardfour, building a greener space for our hens to explore!
